If you follow me on facebook or instagram, you'll know exciting happenings are in the works for little old butter & jam. If you don't already follow me there, then I suggest you do. You'll keep up to date on behind-the-blog happenings, other fun food-related stuff and will get a peek into my kitchen adventures.
But back to the exciting happenings.
So yesterday I posted this photo on facebook and instagram of about a third of the mason jars I'm currently working with. I asked y'all to guess what I was using them for. I got some varied answers - candles, jams, chocolate sauce and cookies in a jar. You people are very creative.
And then earlier this morning I posted another picture. It was this one:
I was also working with all that chocolate - just under 5kgs' worth.
Can you see where I'm getting to? Tons of mason jars, oodles of chocolate...
Clear as mud?
Probably not. Sorry.
Finally just this evening I shared one final photo on my facebook page. It was this one:
You see, butter & jam's first market stall will be held this Anzac day!!! I couldn't be more excited. I've been busily assembling, researching and recipe testing in preparation for these markets. Cookies in a jar, hot chocolate mix in a jar, cappuccino mix in a jar, homemade caramel, as well as freshly baked cakes and slices are just some of the homemade goodies that will be for sale on the day. And with Mother's Day just around the corner, these will make the perfect gifts too!
The markets will be held at the Wedderburn Christian campsite on April 25th from 10-2pm (208 Minerva Road, Wedderburn, NSW) and 50% of proceeds will go towards the wonderful work the campsite is doing.
Hope to see you there!!!
